Welcome, I am Bree Arnett I raise Labradoodles, Aussiedoodles and merle poodles at our family home located in Garrettsville, Ohio. I have 3 wonderful children Jesse 11, Marcus 10, and Mandolin 6. All of my children love helping will all of our animals here. Jesse my oldest son has a miniature Australian shepherd named Zippy she is a black Bi that is highly intelligent and listens to everything that my son has taught her it is truely amazing, Jesse has scoliosis and has surgery every year he also has a speech issue call Apraxia. I say this so people can have an idea that there are really no excuses for not working with your puppy, Jesse has been able to train and work with his dog even through his disabilities. Marcus my middle son is still begging for a Golden Retriver. I am not sure how he has come up with a Golden for a pet he has never really been around them but many of my friends raise goldendoodles so I am sure that he feels that this will fit him. Marcus is really wonderful with the dogs and puppies, they are truely drawn to him he is our gentle giant. Marcus is very big for his age and is working through life with Autism. I must say it does not hold him back from life we have been so lucky with how our children have overcome many issues that they were given in life. Our baby of the family or the Drama Queen that she is, is Mandolin she takes the cake of  the three. Mandolin is the talker like me and will be able to tell you almost anything you will need for raising your puppy she has the love and the engery to follow in my footsteps with raising animals. Her dog is a miniature australian shepherd named Tonic she trains and works with her daily and they get along great. I am not sure how all of my children found their breeds but I know certain people match with specific breeds, and I know it to be true, I am a lover of all animals big or small, it really doesn't matter to me my heart is open to all breeds or anything that needs me, that is why the doodles are my breed, they are all different, have the heart that is loving and honest, and loyal to the end.

You may now be thinking and what does this all have to do really with raising dogs? Well, everything happens for a reason, in the early years of my sons lives it was hard to even make it through a day, I think my heart broke more and more each day, the future was not looking like a typical families would be, And that is really when it occured to my that the disablities that we were dealing with in our children could be help with by getting animals and one of my first loves was dogs. I was raised with many animals when I grew up, being a only child I took comfort in my horses and dogs. So my husband and I decided that a chocolate lab would be the right personality for our family, My husband Jesse was raised with Labs and felt that it would be the most tolerate of the breeds for our boys, at first I tossed around training her as a therpy dog for little Jesse at the time, since he was in a full body cast and really needed help getting up and down it would have worked good for him, but by the time Baily would have grown enough Little Jesse was out of his cast so it was not a need to him to have. As the months passed Baily was growing and was such a sweet great companion to our sons.

One day in November the boys had Thanksgiving time off of school and it was all I could do to keep up after them and my daughter, it was early in the morning and Baily went out to potty and I forgot about her for a few minutes and I went back to see about her and my new neighbor was walking up the driveway. I had not really met her yet and it was not a great way to get to know someone, she introduces herself and then relays the story of Baily getting hit on the road, so of course my husband goes out and gets her, and Linda begins to tell that she only was at the bottom of our driveway and a car did not even try to avoid her, She felt bad because her dog was named Baily also and she was calling her dog and our Baily just was coming when called just the wrong direction. So of course I am totally a mess, Baily really is not that bad just a limp on the front lig but first thing Monday morning I take her in and the vet says we are really lucky a clean break, Lucky was not my first thought when I heard broken but OK cast we will be good "Right" well wrong, thinking can we say Orthopedic Surgen why yes I know them well my son with a rod in his back and now a dog with one in her leg, so life goes on but the bill must be paid it was $3000.00 and this was 6 years ago. So who do I call but my mom she is a softy for grand kids and animals. That was a great ideal but I really felt like she should be repaid, so on the search as a idea of how to repay mom, My husband Jesse thinks having a litter of puppies would be a great way to just repay my mom and the kids would enjoy the puppies. Great ideal dad, the twist was why not this new breed called Labradoodles? I had heard a few things about the word "Labradoodle" a few TV special talked about them and it was just started to be used in peoples vocabular, so the word "Labradoodle" would forever be in our vocabular from that day on.

I hope everyone who is visiting is able to enjoy all of the information that will be avaliable on this site. Mystical Merles website was developed for many reason; First it is a website to help promote the beauty of the merle as a color in many breeds of dogs and puppies, This website is mainly for the merle poodles but also doodles that are merled. Secondly this website is to have others post information on subjects that will better other breeders and families raising new puppies.

Families that I have met over the years find that good information will support them in raising the best family pet so through this website you will be able to visit and post info while learning about other families who are raising their new puppy and needing information through puppyhood.
